The artistic practice of this narrative has formed the explorations of this exhibition’s theme. One exploration delves into the diversified and collective aesthetic that has been forming on Weibo, WeChat, TikTok and other platforms. In contrast, the other exploration questions the relationship between technology and humanity, an ever-lasting human proposition.
“Minor Universes” is born from the miniaturized and animated perception of comics and youth culture.
The universe, whatever its size, is a complexity that may require looking up at the stars or into one’s heart.
“Technology-led Emotions” hopes to make the relationship between humanity and technology more human-like and amicable. In consideration of humanity, no matter how advanced the algorithm and urban life are, they should build an organic connection between individuals and their environment.
