David Krippendorff is a German artist and video and experimental filmmaker. Now living and working in Berlin, David Krippendorff grew up in Rome (Italy) and studied art at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin (Germany), where he graduated with a master’s degree in 1997. His works, films and videos have been shown internationally at New Museum (New York), ICA (London), Hamburger Kunsthalle (Hamburg), and Museum on the Seam (Jerusalem). He has participated in four Biennials (Prague, Poznan, Tel Aviv, Asunción) and many international arts and film festivals worldwide.
His works are included in many major contemporary art collections, including Deutsche Bank, KPMG Deutsche Treuehand-Gesellschaft, and Alison & Peter W Klein. His films are also part of the collections of museums and art institutions, such as Hamburger Kunsthalle and Neue Berliner Kunstverein (NBK). His film “Nothing Escapes My Eyes” is one of the collections of the Koç Foundation, ARTER Museum, Istanbul.
