兵库县立美术馆 Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art

兵库县在1995年1月17日经历阪神淡路大地震之后，于2002年4月设立了 “兵库县立美术馆” 作为灾区 “文化复兴” 的象征。美术馆坐落于灾后建立起的 “HAT神户” 城区（又称神户东部新城——先导21世纪城市文明的新型城市）。

本馆将根据6个基本构想推进美术馆建设，希望通过美术及其相关艺术活动，积极解决21世纪城市生活的共性课题——让人们重获 “心灵财富”。我们尤其关注肩负未来重任的青少年一代，努力促进其感性涵养和心灵健康。

1. 1. 在 “文化复兴” 和新城建设中发挥核心作用。
   2. 继承和发展原有 “近代县立美术馆” 的事业。
   3. 为多样艺术领域提供活动场地。
   4. 创造面向未来的新型美术形态。
   5. 打造向县民开放的体验型美术馆。
   6. 发挥国际交流平台作用。

让我们通过艺术重获 “心灵财富”，这就是 “兵库县立美术馆” 作为灾后 “文化复兴” 象征的使命。

美术馆的建筑是由在日本具有代表性的建筑大师安藤忠雄先生设计，馆内外都有许多雕塑和装置艺术。

 

The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art was opened in HAT Kobe in April 2002 as a symbol of “Cultural Reconstruction” after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that occurred on January 17, 1995. (HAT Kobe is the nickname of the Kobe New Eastern City Center, which was developed as an urban space to lead the 21st century urban civilization.)

Through the proactive development of artistic activities, especially the fine arts, we aim to recover and restore “human spiritual happiness”, which is a shared issue throughout 21st century urban living. In particular, we aim to create a museum of art based on six basic concepts which cultivate the sensitivities and raise the energy of the children, as it is they who bear the future.

1. 1. An art museum that serves as the core of “Cultural Reconstruction”and new urban development.
   2. An art museum that inherits and expands on the Prefectural Museum of Modern Art.
   3. An art museum that supports various artistic activities.
   4. A future-oriented art museum that creates new art.
   5. An art museum that welcomes the participation of local people.
   6. An art museum that serves as a hub of international exchange.

Let’s regain “human spiritual happiness” through art. This is the mission of the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art as the symbol of “Cultural Reconstruction” after the disaster.

Designed by leading Japanese architect Ando Tadao, this museum itself is an attraction with many points to see.
