鸭绿江现当代美术馆是一家民营非企业美术馆。始创于2006年，位于辽宁省丹东市中朝界河鸭绿江上的月亮岛旅游度假区，美术馆距丹东江岸200米，距朝鲜600米，是世界上唯一坐落在国境线上的美术馆。鸭绿江现当代美术馆新馆于2017年落成。
由美国LOA建筑事务所设计的美术馆空间，使当代艺术的各种形态都有充分呈现的可能。美术馆建筑面积9,834平米，地面四层，地下一层，其中展厅面积4,000平方米，共有11个展厅。
鸭绿江美术馆试图真正成为艺术家的美术馆，它以每年仅一个展览项目且以艺术家名字命名的 “年度美术馆” 方式，诚挚邀请国内外当代艺术家全年充分展示自己的作品，并集中力量为应邀艺术家提供服务，让展期内的艺术家拥有整个美术馆，使美术馆深度拥有艺术家。这即是鸭绿江美术馆欲使自己成为一个所谓 “年度美术馆” 的定位。
Yalu River Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is a private non-enterprise art museum. Founded in 2006, it is located in Yueliang Island Tourist Resort on the Yalu River in Dandong City, Liaoning Province. The Art Museum is 200 meters from the bank of Dandong River and 600 meters from North Korea. It is the only art museum in the world located on the border. The new Yalu River Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art was completed in 2017.
The museum space designed by LOA architecture firm in the United States makes it possible for all forms of contemporary art to be fully presented. The museum covers a construction area of 9,834 square meters, four floors on the ground and a undeground floor, of which the exhibition hall covers an area of 4,000 square meters and has a total of 11 exhibition halls.
The Yalu River Art Museum tries to really become an artist’s art gallery. In the way of “Art Museum of the Year”, which is named after only one exhibition project each year, it sincerely invites contemporary artists at home and abroad to fully display their works throughout the year, and focuses on providing services to invited artists, so that the artists during the exhibition period can own the entire museum of art and make the museum have artists in depth. This is the Yalu River Art Museum wants to make itself a so-called “Art Museum of the Year” positioning.
