邬建安,1980年生于北京。中央美术学院实验艺术学院教授、副院长、研究生导师。
2017年,邬建安的作品代表中国参加第57届威尼斯双年展。近年来,他的作品曾先后参加 “开物:当代中国的日常与想象”,里尔伯爵夫人博物馆,2021;“生生不息——叙事的黄河”,银川美术馆,2020;“纸上谈缤”,那不勒斯国家考古博物馆,2019;“越后妻有大地艺术三年展”,新泻越后妻有,2018;“蛇形”,森美术馆/新加坡艺术科学博物馆,2017;“亚洲艺术部成立百年 • 猴年新春特别项目”,大都会艺术博物馆,2016;“三十年的中国当代艺术:卡罗琳与雷内收藏展”,波士顿美术博物馆,2015;“多重宇宙”,上海民生二十一世纪美术馆,2014;“大道之行:中国当代公共艺术展”,卡塞尔,2012;“共再生——第四届福冈亚洲三年展”,福冈亚洲美术馆,2009…… 等国内外重要艺术展览项目,并在北京、上海、纽约等地举办多次个展。
作品曾被大都会艺术博物馆、波士顿美术博物馆、洛杉矶郡立艺术博物馆、中央美术学院美术馆、伯克利美术馆及太平洋影像艺术中心、康奈尔大学赫伯特 F. 约翰逊艺术博物馆、巴西奥斯卡·尼迈耶博物馆、北京民生现代美术馆、嘉德艺术中心、年代美术馆、现代传播集团、北京汇丰尚玉中心、澳大利亚白兔艺术基金会、陈一丹基金会、桥爱慈善基金会等机构收藏。
曾获得的主要艺术奖项有 “2017年度青年力量”(《南方人物周刊》)、“2018年度 40 Under 40 亚洲卓越艺术家”(《香港透视杂志》)、“2020 Best of the Best 年度艺术家”(《罗博报告》)等。
Wu Jian’an was born in Beijing in 1980. He currently lives and works in Beijing as a professor and M.A. student Supervisor at the School of Experimental Art, Central Academy of Fine Arts.
In 2017, Wu Jian’an represented China in the 57th Venice Biennale. Credited for the far-reaching impact of his artistic practice, Wu received The Asian Cultural Council 2021 Grants. In recent years, he has also received “2020 Robb Report Best of the Best Awards for Artist” and the “2018 Perspective 40 Under 40 Awards for Artist”, and several other art awards bestowed by influential medias and institutes.
