CHINAHOUSE 華園中国艺术基地是由瀚和文化创始人孙倩女士创办，在越后妻有大地艺术节综合艺术总监北川富朗先生的大力支持下，专注推介中国艺术家的非营利性平台。于2016年8月8日，在越后妻有地区室野村正式成立。2018年第七届越后妻有大地艺术节举办，经瀚和文化策划、推荐，艺术家邬建安获得大地艺术节正式邀请，在華园所在的百年日式老屋创作艺术作品 “五百笔” 并成为越后妻有大地艺术节D344号作品。
CHINAHOUSE was founded by Sun Qian, the founder of HUBART. It is a non-profit platform focusing on promoting Chinese artists. On August 8, 2016, with the strong support of Fram Kitagawa, the general director of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, CHINAHOUSE Art Base was officially established in Murono Village, Echigo-Tsumari District, Japan. At the 7th Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale in 2018, planned and recommended by HUBART, the Chinese artist Wu Jian’anwas officially invited by the Echigo–Tsumari Art Triennale Executive Committee to create the artwork 500 Brushstrokes in the century-old Japanese-style house where the CHINAHOUSE Art Base is located. Since then, this old house has also been called “The House of 500 Brushstrokes” and became the D344 artwork of Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale.
